An ancient secret in the heart of Tuscany
The San Bartolomeo Convent was one of the best kept secrets of Tuscany, nestled on the slopes of Mount Amiata, the largest lava dome in Tuscany. Its doors have never been open to the public for more than 700 years.
Sleep in a convent, renovated to be a receptive structure, but which has deliberately maintained some typical characteristics of a monastic structure, taste the typical local wine in a Brunello di Montalcino producer not far from the convent. The tasting will consist of: Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, Rosso Orcia DOC and Spumante brut rosé costa.

Thanks to a meticulous restoration completed in 2008 which left the original 13th century complex unaltered, the Convent of San Bartolomeo offers 15 unique rooms, elegantly furnished and original pieces.
All rooms have a private bathroom with shower, and defined by details that convey the flavor of an ancient Franciscan residence.
