Description
Palazzo Dalla Casapiccola, a wisely restored aristocratic 17th century mansion, run with great passion by its owner, lies in the splendid, art town of Recanati, which was the source of inspiration for the great poet Giacomo Leopardi. The original building, its decorations, the ancient coats of arms and furnishings have been preserved and upgraded. Guests are accommodated in individually styled rooms and apartments, carefully and lovingly appointed with all the best modern comforts. The 16th century cellars have kept their original design with ribbed and barrel vaults and exposed brick walls: they provide a highly evocative location for wedding receptions and gala dinners. The Italian garden with its beautiful flower beds in bloom and box hedges is the ideal frame for relaxation, surrounded by the lovely countryside with the skyline silhouetted by the famous hill celebrated by Leopardi's poem "L'Infinito".
